Response curve matching

Users rate the interestingness of multiple images and are connected to those whose response curves match theirs the closest and furthest.
To rate each image, consider its subject matter: would you be interested in seeing more of it? Learning about what it shows from an expert? Discussing it with someone?

One of these users will have broadly similar sensibilities to yours and the other broadly different. Talking to either of them will probably be interesting.
A problem is that someone can give intentionally extreme answers to ensure that everybody gets matched with him as most different.
Widely used to strike up new conversations with above-average likelihood of payoff.
